MARCHING BAND
The Ridge View "Blazer Band" marching band was first fielded by a small group of dedicated students in 1996. From these humble beginnings has sprung: a marching band in excess of 160, a young -- but growing -- tradition of excellence, and widespread community support.
As evidence of the band members' hard work and dedication to excellence, the Blazer Band has accumulated an impressive list of accolades, including: six straight appearances in the top 5 at SCBDA's marching band finals, three BOA regional finals appearances, two appearances in Philadelphia's annual Thanksgiving Day Parade and three Grand Championship honors.
