Dear Parents,

Although the Blazer Band received a disappointing 7th Place in the State Finals, I could not be more proud of our kids! All of the band members and staff were very excited after the performance; it was our best run of the year! Our two Music Judges had us in 3rd and 8th; our Visual Judges had us in 5th and 7th; and our Effect Judges had us in 6th and 9th.

Monday – USC Concert and Symphonic Band Concert; 7:30 pm in the Koger Center; Free and worth 10 Merit Points
Tuesday – Master Classes for all Symphonic and Concert Band members; 4:00 – 5:00 (not 5:30 as previously indicated)
Thursday – Marching Band Practice; 4:30 – 5:30
Friday – Marching Band Call Time; 4:30. Come and see the combined Ridge View and Blythewood Bands at Halftime with our “Salute to the Armed Forces”!
Saturday’s Pancake Breakfast has been canceled
